Toronto, Ontario -- Southpaw Technology, the developer of open source TACTIC, announced the immediate availability of TACTIC 4.0 via the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. Companies producing large quantities of digital assets can now visit the AWS Marketplace, order TACTIC and start customizing and streamlining their digital workflows to suit their needs.
The AWS Marketplace is an online store that allows enterprises to find, compare, buy and immediately start using software and services that run on the AWS cloud. The AWS Marketplace allows customers to compare options, read reviews and easily access the technology they need to build and manage their AWS-based applications and infrastructure.
“TACTIC has always been available via browsers as an internally deployed platform,” said Gary Mundell, CEO of Southpaw Technology. “With AWS, we’ve moved TACTIC’s same powerful functionality to the cloud. With the click of a button, customers can start working with TACTIC to manage their massive databases of digital assets and to streamline their digital workflows using the latest and greatest cloud infrastructure. This represents a huge leap forward in terms of simplicity and time savings for digital content creators across multiple vertical markets.”
“We welcome Southpaw Technology’s TACTIC software and the workflow management value it provides customers who own large databases of digital assets,” said Sajai Krishnan, GM of AWS Marketplace. “As the breadth of technologies available via the AWS Marketplace broadens with additions such as TACTIC, we are able to offer customers more flexibility, scalability and functionality in deploying solutions in the cloud.”
TACTIC is a dynamic, open-source, web-based platform that allows users to manage the development and delivery of digital assets through the entire content creation process. Designed for busy work environments with high volumes of content traffic, TACTIC streamlines workflows by applying business logic to disparate data and file system environments and to dynamically visualize every aspect through web based delivery. The platform seamlessly combines elements of DAM, PAM, CMS and ECM technologies, offering users a set of tools to create a wide range of customized enterprise workflow solutions or smart process applications.
TACTIC deployments can be supported by the Southpaw Professional Services team, which provides workflow advice and technical expertise for companies needing to rapidly extend the functionality of TACTIC across departments, studios and entire enterprises.
