Josh Sabarra joins New Line Home Entertainment (NLHE) as vp of publicity, based in Los Angeles. In his new post, Sabarra will work closely with the divisions marketing team to publicize home entertainment releases and will liaise with New Line Cinemas theatrical department to integrate public relations activities, as well as, handle corporate communications for the home entertainment unit.
The announcement was made today by New Line Home Entertainment senior vice president of marketing Matt Lasorsa.
Josh brings outstanding theatrical and home entertainment public relations experience to New Line, and he is a fantastic addition to our division, said Matt Lasorsa, NLHE svp of marketing, to whom Sabarra reports. His background and enthusiasm are the perfect complement to our strong marketing team.
Sabarra was vp of media relations for Miramax Films west coast operation where he handled a variety of special projects and worked on such film campaigns such as THE STATION AGENT and COLD MOUNTAIN.
Previously, Sabarra was director of publicity and communications at Warner Home Video, during which he spearheaded campaigns for the HARRY POTTER home video franchise. Other projects included SCOOBY-DOO, CATS & DOGS and anniversary releases of Warner Bros. classics such as WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY AND GIANT.
Sabarra began his career with Buena Vista Pictures Marketing where he assisted with theatrical publicity campaigns for projects such as HERCULES, MULAN, ARMAGEDDON and THE SIXTH SENSE.
