Realviz recently announced that it has completed a third round of financing worth 10 million euros (US$9.39 million). The money will help with the future development of the company and their products. This new fundraising will enable Realviz to finance their international expansion programme in the U.S.A., Europe and Asia, as well as to finance a new Internet solutions business unit. Investors included Alain Tingaud (chairman and CEO of Infovista); MVI, a private equity pool based in Sweden; and the addition of four new investors, Azeo Ventures (France), HPI (Switzerland), Intel Capital (Europe) and the LCF Rothschild Group (France). Dominique Pouliquen, CEO of Realviz, said, "Thanks to these funds, Realviz will continue its expansion within its premier markets (special effects for the film industry, architecture, industrial design and video games) and will develop new products devoted to creating 2D and 3D content for the Web. In addition, this investment will now enable us to create a new business division, which will offer the very best of our technologies for online imaging ASP solutions."
