Radium Hires Inferno Artist Ali Laventhol
Digital visual effects studio Radium has announced the addition of Inferno artist Ali Laventhol to its Los Angeles office. Laventhol comes to Radium with 10 years of experience in the broadcast television, post-production and visual effects industries. Beginning her career in the broadcast news arena, Laventhol developed her eye for composition and color in the live production of news, weather and sports graphics at a local TV station in the Bay Area. After moving into post-production, she worked as a Henry artist and Flame/Inferno artist, with past positions as a staff digital artist at Western Images and Inferno artist at Ring of Fire. She also worked as a freelance Flame artist for such companies as Rhythm & Hues, Sony Pictures Imageworks and Pittard Sullivan. Laventhol has created visual effects for commercials, feature films, music videos, episodic television and broadcast design projects. Her commercial credits include spots for Honda, Nissan, Dodge, Jeep, Hershey's Kisses, Timex and Budweiser. Her feature film work includes SPAWN, JACK, DR. DOOLITTLE 2, THE DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA-YA SISTERHOOD, MEN IN BLACK II, I SPY and LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS.
