All major European broadcasters and investors will be there: BBC, Disney, France Televisions, CANAL+, M6, MTV, Nickelodeon, RTVE, Rai, Super RTL, TF1, ZDF…
69 TV projects [1] from 16 countries have been selected to be pitched at the coproduction forum in order to boost financing and distribution. 40 percent of the shows are also cross-media. One third are pre-school projects, while a rising number of series target young adults and adults (16 percent).
Two awards will be given during the event: the Cartoon Tributes for the Broadcaster, Investor and Producer of the year, and the Cartoon d’Or [2] for the best European animated short film.
In addition, Toulouse and Midi-Pyrenees Region are organizing a Cartoon Festival [3] with plenty of activities for everybody: open-air screenings, workshops and premieres.
