The Hollywood Reporter . Gavin Polone will produce the FOX and Sony project. The original feature's writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will pen the series. The studios hope to have the half-hour series ready for the 2012-13 season. Sony said the TV series would replace the previously planned sequel.
