Jack the Giant Killer Writer to Adapt Beasts of Burden

files/pictures/picture-35.jpgDarren Lemke (JACK THE GIANT KILLER) will adapt the animated feature BEASTS OF BURDEN, based on Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson's Dark Horse comic, reports Heat Vision [1]. Andrew Adamson (THE CHRONCILES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE) will direct with Reel FX handling the animation.

The tale follows a group of dogs and one cat that partner to save their owners from a supernatural danger.

Adamson will also produce alongside Strange Weather Films' Aron Warner and Dark Horse's Mike Richardson. Dark Horse’s Keith Goldberg will exec produce.
