Cinesite Hollywood has recently added four new employees, senior compositor Rory Hinnen, senior engineer Suri Denduluri, colorist Marc Wielage and trainer Andrea Paolino, to the staff of its Hollywood office. "The addition of these talented people to our staff continues our efforts of building Cinesite's strength and services to the industry," said Cinesite Hollywood president and COO Ruth Scovill. Senior compositor Rory Hinnen studied digital art, mathematics and computer science at the University of Nevada-Reno. He started at Dream Quest Images in data management and quickly moved into compositing, where his first credit was on DEEP RISING. Hinnen worked in a variety of capacities for Dream Quest and its successor, The Secret Lab, and his credits include INSPECTOR GADGET, ARMAGEDDON, BICENTENNIAL MAN and SNOW DOGS. After leaving his native India and working for the automobile industry, senior engineer Suri Denduluri joined DreamWorks in 1995 where he helped to build the computer infrastructure that supported the making of such animated features as THE PRINCE OF EGYPT and THE ROAD TO EL DORADO. Later he oversaw the switch to Linux and migration from ATM to gigabit on the DreamWorks campus. Veteran colorist Marc Wielage joins Cinesite following more than a dozen years at Complete Post, where his experience ranged from color timing episodic TV shows to digital mastering features and trailers for theatrical release. Wielage will be working with filmmakers on the digital color timing of films for theatrical, digital cinema and home video releases. Finally, trainer Andrea Paolino has an extensive history in traditional art, CG creation, 3D instruction and software analysis. She has worked in production at Sony Imageworks, Rhythm & Hues, Disney, Digital Domain and Paramount Pictures. Her project credits include I SPY, STUART LITTLE 2, CATS & DOGS, DR. DOLITTLE 2, STARSHIP TROOPERS, DANTE'S PEAK and TITANIC. She has taught Maya, effects animation, character set up, organic modeling, advanced modeling, lighting, texturing and animation at Academy of Art College in San Francisco, UCLA Extension and Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood.
