Nickelodeon Land Opens in U.K.
Press Release from Nickelodeon
Little explorers can take to the sky with Diego’s Rainforest Rescue, a ride in which kids board hot air balloons that then travel sky high up a rotating tower for fantastic views of Pleasure Beach. There is also a bouncy carousel ride set from within the Wonder Pets Big Top Circus, the Backyardigans Pirate Treasure, a whirling ride in which guests take to their own pirate boat and hit the high seas for a pirate like adventure. Dora the Explorer is on hand too with Dora’s World Voyage, a boat ride which sails through France, Russia, Tanzania and China, where guests meet all sorts of new friends and learn how to say “hello” in each of their languages.
Young riders even have their own roller coaster, the Blue Flyer - packed with drops and tight turns it’s sure to leave little guests giggling in delight. Completing the impressive lineup is the Fairy World Taxi Spin in which guests board their very own enchanted fairy taxis and take the controls as they head up into the sky on this revolving, flying experience ride.
Nestled amongst the rides of Nickelodeon Land is the UK’s first Nick Store, packed with Nickelodeon apparel, toys, gifts and Build a Bob – a product which lets guests create their own SpongeBob SquarePants from dozens of individual pieces.
A visit to Nickelodeon Land would not be complete without meeting the famous faces that make up Nickelodeon’s world. SpongeBob SquarePants, his good friend Patrick; Dora the Explorer, her best friend Boots and her cousin Diego; Aang from Avatar Airbender; as well as Chucky, Tommy and Angelica from the Rugrats will all be on hand to meet with guests for photos and autographs.
The UK’s only Nickelodeon Land is now open at Pleasure Beach Blackpool. Guests can enjoy all of the rides at Pleasure Beach with a Wristband which includes all 125 attractions of the park. For great deals, saving at least £5 per wristband visit www.pleasurebeachresort.com
