For the 2013 Sprite Slam Dunk and agency Leo Burnett, digital agency Modus Operandi designed and produced a digital asset palette and animations of competition slam dunks created in near real-time during the NBA charity event.

The 2013 Sprite Slam Dunk featured six dunkers (Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference) competing in a two-round competition as part of State Farm All-Star Saturday Night. As the players competed each dunk, the Modus Operandi team received the footage via satellite and created custom designed animations out of them on the fly. The campaign involved collaboration between NBA, Sprite, Leo Burnett, Modus Operandi and fans who determined the champion in the head-to-head round decided by voting via text, the NBA All Star App, tweet (#SpriteSlam) and online.
