London, UK -- Entertainment One Familyannounces that is has landed a major broadcast deal for its BAFTA award-winning film Lost and Found. Nickelodeon has just acquired the rights to air the critically acclaimed animation which will premiere on the channel in December in the USA in addition to airing on its channels in Australia and UK.
Based on the international best-selling children’s book by Oliver Jeffers, Lost and Found was produced by multi award-winning production company STUDIO AKA and tells the unforgettable story of a little boy who finds a penguin on his doorstep. Although at first he is unsure what to do, the Boy becomes determined to help the Penguin find his way back home... even if that means rowing all the way to the South Pole!
This unique half-hour animated film features both narration by the great actor Jim Broadbent and a beautiful score by composer Max Richter in a story that celebrates the true value of friendship. The film was a close collaboration with Oliver Jeffers and beautifully adapts the book’s dreamlike illustrations into a stunning and heart-warming CGI animation.

Oliver Jeffers is a best-selling author in the USA where his books have been met with widespread acclaim. In addition to Lost and Found which was a huge hit in the States, two of his latest picture books, Stuck and The Hueys in the New Sweater have won rave reviews and gone straight into the New York Times bestseller list.
