The promotional toy is available with advance reservations on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights now through December 7, 2003, at more than 165 participating hotels.
"Embassy Suites Hotels traditionally have offered some of the most sought-after seasonal kids' packs, featuring popular characters from the hottest kids' programming," said John Lee, vp brand marketing, Embassy Suites Hotels. "Kids will love the plush SCOOBY-DOO toy, and the entire family can enjoy a much-needed long weekend. Juggling work schedules and errand running, families get so busy that they need a weekend getaway just to spend quality time winding down together or reconnecting with extended family or friends.
Phyllis Ehrlich, svp of promotions marketing for Cartoon Network sales and marketing, added, "As a top star on both Cartoon Network and Boomerang, Scooby-Doo also is enjoying an extremely busy year with the direct-to-video release of SCOOBY-DOO AND THE MONSTER OF MEXICO and the upcoming theatrical sequel, SCOOBY-DOO II. Through this exclusive promotion with Embassy Suites Hotels, an entirely new generation of kids can enjoy playing with this all-new plush version of the canine superstar. And since Scooby-Doo enjoys one of animation's longest-running careers -- from television to motion pictures to home video to comic books -- parents love him, too."
