Turns out Disney got more than meets the eye with its merger deal with Marvel Entertainment. The conglomerate also expanded ties with POW! Entertainment, a company led by Stan Lee, the man who once ran Marvel and co-created many of its main characters, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER [1].
In the deal, Disney acquired a 10 percent stake of the company for $2.5 million as well as "enhanced rights" to the company's creative side.
