Cartoon Network Enterprise (CNE) will have an extended hardlines and softlines program for the BAKUGAN brand. The consumer products options for young battle brawlers everywhere will soon be expanded in to all new categories as CNE, Nelvana's exclusive U.S. licensing agent for BAKUGAN, has signed partners to extend "Baku-mania" in to new hardlines categories and add to the tremendous success of the master toy line from Spin Master.
Beginning this spring, The Canadian Group will unleash a new line of its BAKUGAN games and puzzles while Basic Fun will introduce functional key chains for the brand. Also available in the spring will be a full range of activity toys including figure makers, tattoos, roller desk, poster art and more from Cra-z-Art Corporation, a division of the newly established LaRose Industries. And this fall, Battle Brawler excitement continues with a complete range of 2D and 3D projectors, flashlights and snow sleds courtesy of Dynatech.
The buzz behind BAKUGAN continues at The MAGIC Marketplace in Las Vegas as CNE also announced a range of new softlines partners. Building on the successful program that debuted last year, Nelvana's exclusive U.S. licensing agent for the brand has signed five new partners in the space, expanding "Baku-Mania" into a host of new categories. Kids Headquarters has been named the sportswear partner for BAKUGAN with a line that includes sets, separates and outerwear and AME, a division of LF USA will launch hanging underwear. Both lines will be available at retailers nationwide this spring.
Battle brawlers everywhere can also accessorize in style with expansion into two new categories. E.S. Originals comes on board with a line of footwear including athletics, flip flops and slippers currently available at retail. Berkshire has been tapped for cold weather accessories, headwear, hosiery, slipper socks and packaged underwear debuting this fall, while MZ Berger will create BAKUGAN branded kids watches and clocks available at retail also available in time for back to school.
BAKUGAN is a co-production from Sega Toys, Spin Master, Nelvana Enterprises, TMS Ent., Japan Vistec and Sega, with animation by Japan Vistec and TMS. The animated television series can be seen on Cartoon Network on Monday through Friday from 8-8:30 a.m. (ET/PT). A full BAKUGAN toy line from Spin Master is currently available at retailers nationwide.
