Los Angeles -- Commercial production veteran and former Superfad Managing Director Kevin Batten announced the launch of Pop-Arts Management, a management and production consulting firm. Pop-Arts’ initial roster includes Logan, Logan & Sons, Gentlemen Scholar and Great Guns, award-winning companies with a range of capabilities across live-action production, animation, design and visual effects. Pop-Arts is designed to offer advertising agencies and brands multi-disciplinary talent and the ability to package projects end-to-end.
Batten began his career as a founding member of Digital Kitchen, the pioneering studio renowned for its multi-disciplinary production model. He later held the positions of Executive Producer at Brand New School and Managing Director at Superfad, then Logan and Logan & Sons. He also worked as an ad agency producer at Deutsch, Wieden+Kennedy, DDB and Wong Doody.
Will Johnson, Director/Partner, Gentlemen Scholar, comments, “When Gentleman Scholar caught wind of the creation of Pop-Arts we were excited to team up with Kevin once again. His kind, easy-going demeanor and familiarity with the intricacies of design and animation are key to our collaborative process. With Kevin’s experience and knowledge of the industry we felt it was a good time to evolve and continue to push Gentleman Scholar's brand to the next level.”
“With Pop-Arts Management, I work with companies that speak to all aspects of advertising and have the ability to be a one-stop shop for my clients,” Batten comments. “I still have as much enthusiasm today for finding good projects as I did back when I began my career at Digital Kitchen. I’m excited to work with companies with diversified offerings that provide clients with multiple creative solutions, many of which can be done under one roof.”
Batten says Pop-Arts Management will retain a boutique model of operations.
