files/pictures/picture-35.jpgSNK Playmore USA Corp., the U.S. publishing arm of the SNK Playmore Corp., announced that they will premiere five new games for the Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance at E3, to be held May 10-12, 2006, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. SNK will showcase its titles in the Concourse, Suite #153A.
Debuting at this year's E3 are THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2006 for the PlayStation 2, METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY for the Wii and PSP, METAL SLUG for the Game Boy Advance and SNK VS CAPCOM CARD FIGHTERS DS for the Nintendo DS.
"E3 2006 is going to be a very exciting show for SNK" said Ben Herman, president of SNK Playmore USA Corp. "We'll be unveiling our premiere titles for three different platforms, including a METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY for the Wii. We expect our fans to be thrilled with our line-up."
THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2006 is an original 3D fighting game designed specifically for home consoles, and produced by noted artist and designer, Falcoon. KOF 2006 will feature characters from THE KING OF FIGHTERS: MAXIMUM IMPACT and a number of hidden characters. A special gift with purchase will be offered featuring the first Anime series for THE KING OF FIGHTERS.
METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY will feature six great METAL SLUG titles from the arcade. Included in the collection will be METAL SLUG, METAL SLUG 2, METAL SLUG X, METAL SLUG 3, METAL SLUG 4, and METAL SLUG 5. Bonus materials will be announced closer to launch.
SNK VS CAPCOM CARD FIGHTERS DS is the first new game in the series since 2000. Players build decks of characters pulled from the annals of SNK and Capcom gaming history for the ultimate strategic battle.
METAL SLUG for the Game Boy Advance features 2D missions and classic over-the-top boss characters to challenge gamers' skills. Battle General Morden and his evil forces with a huge array of weapons at your disposal.
