files/pictures/picture-35.jpgPileated Pictures announced that it recently wrapped production of a dozen animated episodes to support the launch of Trivial Pursuit DVD for Kids. The team at Pileated handled all aspects of production for Parker Brothers, owned by Hasbro, including animation, design, voice-over production, video post work and DVD authoring.
Pileated Pictures also helped advertising agency, Grey Worldwide, with concept, design and animation for two national spots, and three video-on-demand spots that will air on the Nickelodeon VOD channel. In addition, Pileated created animation and an online game for the Trivial Pursuit website.
An interactive DVD, Trivial Pursuit DVD for Kids matches wits with the games wacky cast members (Mitch, Brad, Bobby and Lewis) as they take you through the instructions and each question. Just hit play on the DVD and the game will begin.

All of the projects were animated using Adobe Flash and composited using Adobe After Effects. Apples DVD Studio Pro was used to author the DVDs. Original music was provided by J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr.
