BOSTON, MA -- The ragtime soundtrack from the hit web show "Its Jerry Time!" is now available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, the Its Jerry Time website and across the web.
The independently produced web series is the first blog and only animated website to win an Emmy Award.
Jerry Zucker, is the co-creator and brainchild behind "It's Jerry Time." His music provides some fun old-time piano music with an edgy sense of humor. Jerry's music sneaks up on you and tickles your funny bone with its campy little ironies at every turn, with touches of poetry and good feeling. Bits of the music are also being repurposed for ringtones, kids cartoons, romcom, parody and other quirky situations, and excels at accompanying fun or funny material, retro commercials or for sitcom themes.
The 45 minute CD gives Its Jerry Time! fans and others who enjoy the upbeat, fresh piano themes from the show. This includes the Its Jerry Time! theme song "Cornbread," "B Train Blues" and "The Aveune," which features a soaring mandolin solo by co-producer Steve Rizzo. The music is all performed and composed by Jerry, who also served as narrator for the innovative web series.
The Its Jerry Time soundtrack features 19 piano instrumentals including two vocals. The spectacular cover art was executed by Orrin Zucker, the animator from the series.
Two special vocal tracks are also included as extras. "Put the Butter in the Fridge," is sung by Jerry and pokes fun at Barack Obama's sloppy real-life habits. It was conceived during Jerry's 2008 run for President. "The Peck-Peck Song," sung by Chicago vocalist Wendy Warnimont, boasts two music videos on youtube and has become a children's Thanksgiving sing-along standard now being taught at elementary schools around the country.
Piano sheet music from the soundtrack is also available on the website.
In addition, Its Jerry Time! proudly announces "It's English Time!" the introduction of a new ESL (English as Second Language) course that is based on the twenty episodes from the hit web series. The online course will be taught by English Teacher Diana Tower starting in the next few weeks.
