Malaysian animation producer, INSPIDEA, is presenting MMFF short for Mustang Mama Football Fever at Booth no 05.14 in MIPCOM this year.
MMFF, a 26x2 animation series, takes a comedic look at football in the most unusual sense. Besides the decrepit grandma called Mustang Mama, MMFF will feature new characters, like Silly Sally, Mamas pet cow, and the clueless Toby, Mamas only grandson.
We believe there will be some pent up demand for soccer related animation in the run up to World Cup 2006, said Andrew Ooi, md of INSPIDEA. MMFF is about football for every living being on earth, in the most eccentric and humorous way. MMFF takes a deep look at football in the perspective an old grandma, a young boy and strangely a pet cow, he continued.
Aimed for a December 2005 completion, MMFF will be geared toward both young adults and children. The non-dialogue animated comedy will be available for conventional TV (in both 4:3 or 16:9 format). MMFF will also be made into mobile format and will be released simultaneously prior to World Cup 2006.
