FOX Brings THE O.C. Hit Show to Online Videogame
WildTangent, one of the leading online game publishers, has created a branded game for FOX's hit show. THE O.C. Fans of the show can now SKATE THE O.C. by logging onto www.fox.com/oc/skatetheoc/.
SKATE THE O.C. is a customized online skateboarding videogame featuring interactive gameplay in THE O.C.'s backyard environment. The game was developed and published by WildTangent, utilizing WildTangent's Web Driver technology to deliver a rich, dynamic entertainment experience for consumer PCs.
The custom- branded skateboarding game kick-started the show's second season, which airs Thursdays, beginning Nov. 4, 2004, 8:00-9:00 pm, on FOX. THE O.C. pays homage to Southern California living and the famed suburb where skating and surfing are an integral part of the lifestyle. THE O.C. show ranked as the No. 1 drama of last season among teens, adults 18- 34 and persons 12-34, a key online demographic for online gaming.
