
Made on a $7 million budget by Moscow-based animation studio Wizart [1], The Snow Queen is one of the most highly anticipated projects to come out of Russia in 2012.
The 19th Century fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, about a brave young girl who sets out to rescue her brother from the cold-hearted villainess the Snow Queen , is written and directed by Maxim Sveshnikov and Vlad Barbe.
Although teaser footage was released back in February [2], Wizart has finally unveiled the first official trailer for film:
