The Hollywood Reporter . Rovio plans to use the money to bring the popular mobile game to other mediums, including film and TV. Rovio recently signed a deal with Facebook to bring a version of the game to the social media site.
Niklas Hed, Jarno Vakevainen and Kim Diker founded Rovio in 2003 while they were still students.
