Motion Capture Society to Host Mixer January 24

The Motion Capture Society [1] and Motion Analysis Studios [2] will be hosting an evening of noshing, drinking, and talking -- with enough technology demos thrown in to justify the write-off -- on Thursday, January 24, at the Chaplain Stage at the Jim Henson Company in Los Angeles.

Motion Analysis will be sharing some exciting new technology, presenting informative talks from some of its clients and helping make 2013 The Year for the motion capture industry.

The full lineup for the evening includes:

• Motion Analysis Studios demo featuring their latest and greatest motion capture technology.
• Faceware [3] demo showcasing the company’s facial performance capture technology.
• Colin Brady, Animation Director, Pixomondo, discussing his work with cartoon-based puppetry.
