The Art of Animation will be featuring the soon to be released "The Princess and the Pea" by Feature Films For Families and Swan Animation. On display for kids of all ages, this colorful and imaginative exhibit will be shown at the St. George Art Museum, 47 E. 200 N. Admission is free of charge. Visitors will have the opportunity to follow the creative process of animation from beginning to end - from the first pencil sketches depicting the concept of the original characters to how dialogue and sound effects are added. An adaptation of the original Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, "The Princess and the Pea" is a movie with a valuable, timeless message: "learn to look beyond appearances and become a person whose beauty is more than skin deep." From the drawing board to the theatre screen, "The Princess and the Pea" comes as a worldwide animation effort, including some of Europe's finest animators, a voice cast from London, England, and an American director.
