Emmy Winners For Voice Over And Animation Announced
The Emmy Award winners in the Outstanding Voice Over Performance as well as Individual Achievement in Animation have been announced for the 54th Annual Emmy Awards. These juried award categories, which have no nominations, will be presented at the 2002 Primetime Creative Arts Awards on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Pamela Segall Adlon won an Emmy for Outstanding Voice Over Performance for her role as Bobby Hill, Clark Peters and Chane Wasonasong on KING OF THE HILL in the episode "Bobby Goes Nuts." The show aired on Fox and was produced by 3 Arts Entertainment, Deedle-Dee Productions and Judgemental Films in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Peter Macon also receives an Emmy for Outstanding Voice Over Performance for his narration of ANIMATED TALES OF THE WORLD, for the episode "John Henry, The Steel Driving Man." The show aired on HBO and was produced by Cinema For and Sverdlovsk Animation Studio in association with HBO on behalf of Children's Television Trust International. Emmys for Individual Achievement in Animation were awarded to Maciek Albrecht and Andrey Zolotukhin. Maciek Albrecht won for production design and for animation of "The Christmas Song," "Feliz Navidad" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" segments of TWAS THE NIGHT.
