Eidos and TT Games Announce New LEGO Adventure Game
Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, and TT Games, the makers of LEGO STAR WARS, announced a new LEGO adventure, BIONICLE HEROES, will be released in fall 2006 on PlayStation 2, PC, Nintendo Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and NINTENDO GAMECUBE (NTSC only).
BIONICLE HEROES brings to life the most powerful and exciting LEGO characters ever seen in one game, in an action-packed world. Players will take control of a young hero as he steps out of the real world and into the strange and dangerous universe of BIONICLE. Only by mastering the powers and special abilities of the greatest BIONICLE heroes will he be able to overcome the many challenges ahead.
"We are providing strong levels of support for the brand in 2006 and we are excited that the same winning team behind the success of LEGO STAR WARS: THE VIDEO GAME is making the official BIONICLE videogame," said Jay Bruns, director of global partnerships and alliances for LEGO Group. "With such a pedigree of highly entertaining and engaging titles for young gamers, we are really looking forward to seeing the BIONICLE range brought to life in an immensely fun and immersive experience, both for our core BIONICLE fans and for those new to the universe."
Eidos Interactive (www.eidos.com) is part of SCi Ent. Group Plc (SEG), one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software.
