The Art Institutes International Minnesota
(Ai Minnesota), located in downtown Minneapolis, is now offering a bachelor's degree program in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics. To accommodate the new program, Ai Minnesota has expanded its facilities to include a green room, a professional-level sound recording studio, several digital video cameras and lighting kits. The Visual Effects & Motion Graphics program utilizes software applications such as Combustion, Shake, Maya, Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects. Ai Minnesota also offers bachelor's programs in Media Arts & Animation and Multimedia & Web Design. "The Visual Effects & Motion Graphics program at The Art Institutes International Minnesota provides the industry with a new breed of employee that can hit the ground running upon their graduation," said Pete Patsiavos, academic director for the Media Arts & Animation and Visual Effects & Motion Graphics degree programs. "They will be prepared to be an active participant in creative decision making and well versed in industry current production skills."
