DIC Promotes Shannon Nettleton To VP Of Production
DIC Ent. has promoted company veteran Shannon Nettleton to vp of production. She will oversee the production and post-production departments and will manage the efforts of DICs in-house production teams, as well as outside vendors and freelancers. She will supervise the companys slate of film, television and home entertainment productions and develop systems to maximize the efficiency of these projects.
Nettleton will also continue to analyze new products, services and technical advancements to ensure compatibility with the existing infrastructure and possible implementation into future workflow methodologies.
Shannon continues to be an exemplary and skilled production executive with the ability to effectively and efficiently juggle a multitude of projects, said Mike Maliani chief creative officer, DIC, to whom she reports. We have worked together for years in the world of animation, and I continue to see her not only meet but rise above the many challenges of production to deliver stellar product. Nettleton has held various positions in DICs production division for nearly 10 years. Most recently she was director of post-production and was responsible for managing the staff, production schedules and budgets.
Previously at DIC, Nettleton was production supervisor on projects such as STARGATE, NICK INCREDIBLE MOVIE TOONS, STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE and LIBERTYS KIDS and was an associate producer on nearly 200 half-hours of animation, including SABRINA THE ANIMATED SERIES, SONIC UNDERGROUND, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF MADELINE and SUPER DUPER SUMOS.
Nettleton began her career in animation working on the feature film SPACE JAM for Warner Bros.
