Crazy Pete's Gets Fused
Casino of Doom's Flash-animated CRAZY PETE'S has been licensed for use as interstitial programming by the Fuse network. The cartoon started airing in May 2003 on the cable channel and is also featured on the Fuse's Website (www.fuse.tv) as part of its WTF series of "viral video" clips.
Jim Fisher, of Los Angeles, wrote, animated and voiced the three-minute cartoon, a parody of commercials for stereo salesmen who claim mental illness. It has been a regular hit at CampChaos.com since its debut as part of the site's "Other Shows" in June 2001. Although it was his first foray into Web animation, and initially intended as a one-shot, its enduring popularity has prompted Fisher to plan at least one follow-up cartoon for the seriously deranged electronics salesman in the near future.
Fuse (formerly MuchMusicUSA) is a music video network available to 31 million subscribers. Fuse is now in discussion with Fisher to license more of his cartoons as interstitials. CRAZY PETE'S and all of Jim Fisher's animations can be viewed at www.campchaos.com/othershows/casino-of-doom.
