Cabbage Patch Kids to Get Animated

files/pictures/picture-35.jpgGalen Walker, the producer of the upcoming live-action TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES feature, has acquired the rights to THE CABBAGE PATCH KIDS from Original Appalachian Artworks, writes The Hollywood Reporter [1]. Walker holds the rights with CWA Carlin West Agency, which is headed by former 4Kids exec Carlin West. The producers plan to exploit the popular '80s brand first as a TV special. A script is being worked on.
