Vancouver, BC – Bron Studios [1]’ animation company Bron Animation is now in development and will begin production in 2013 on its first CG animated feature film Sole Mates, based on an original concept created by Deon Taylor. Bron Managing Director, Aaron L. Gilbert will produce alongside Taylor, who will produce through his Hidden Empire Film Group. Ahmet Zappa will be a Producer on the film through his Monsterfoot Productions’ banner. Roxanne Avent of Hidden Empire will Executive Produce.
Sole Mates is an animated journey of love lost and found, with comedic charm and universal themes set in a familiar world from a new point of view.
“Bron was built to produce feature animation and we’re thrilled to be working with such creative partners as Taylor and Zappa on our first effort,” said Gilbert.
The creative team, led by Taylor, includes Ahmet Zappa, Writer/Producer of the recent film The Odd Life Of Timothy Green and Bron's Adam Wood, who recently served as Animation Director on the Weinstein’s Escape From Planet Earth.
Deon Taylor is an accomplished creator, writer, director, and producer. He has written, produced, and directed such projects as Chain Letter (Nikki Reed) The Hustle (Charlie Murphy) and most recently the intense drama Supremacy (Joe Anderson, Danny Glover, Julie Benz, Derek Luke). He is represented by WME.
Bron is currently in production on the two CG animated Mighty Mighty Monsters specials “Halloween Havoc” and “New Fears Eve.”
