The Frankie Muniz teen-spy flick AGENT CODY BANKS, with vfx by Pixel Magic and Eyetronics, debuted in second place with $15M. THE HUNTED (vfx supervisor was Eric Brevig, ILM did primary effects), bagged third place with $13.5M. TEARS OF THE SUN, with visual effects by ILM, dropped to fourth place with $8.8M and a $30.8M cume. CHICAGO, with visual effects by Toybox and Film Effects Inc., improved its take slightly over last week but dropped to fifth, taking in $7.7M to bring its total to $125.4M. OLD SCHOOL, vfx by Gray Matter FX, slipped to sixth place at $6.8M and a cume of $60.9M. HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS, with visual effects by Pixel Magic, has dipped to seventh place taking in $4.8M and a $93.8M total. New Line's remake of WILLARD, with vfx by The Character Shop and Digital Domain, debuted a distant No. 8 with $4M. DAREDEVIL, with primary vfx by Rhythm & Hues, Pixel Magic and Digital Domain, is still seeing its way into the top 10 at ninth place taking in $3M and a cume of $96M. CRADLE 2 THE GRAVE (Bryan Horiba was vfx supervisor) tumbled to tenth, earning $3M and a total of $31.7M.
