Basil Booming With Licensing Deals
Entertainment Rights' top rating children's TV star, BASIL BRUSH, is teaming up with The Children's Society to help raise funds for the charity's work with disadvantaged kids via an exclusive two-year agreement with ER to produce four Basil Brush pin badges. The badges will sell for £1 each in high street retailers in the U.K.
Other new deals include organic cereal company Health Care Products, which will produce a range of Basil Brush children's shaped breakfast cereals. The organic cereal will include delicious chocolate-coated Boom Booms and will be branded with the enigmatic stars image. BHS plans to launch in time for Father's Day 2004 a box set of BASIL BRUSH pajamas and boxer shorts. Cascata, a leading supplier of mobile phone content, will create a range of fun and exciting screensavers, interactive games, wallpapers and ring tones for mobile phones featuring the foxy character. Sharp Cards will produce a series of Basil Brush M-cards personalized message cards for mobile phones.
BASIL BRUSH is enjoying resurgence in popularity through his Children's BBC television series, THE BASIL BRUSH SHOW, which is yet again proving to be a huge ratings winner.
The lead up to Christmas 2003 also saw the release of a variety of BASIL BRUSH licensed merchandise, including his first home entertainment release BASIL BRUSH - UNLEASHED! on DVD and video from Right Entertainment, his debut single Boom Boom and Christmas Slide from Right Records and a range of collectible plush toys from Golden Bear.
