The 8th annual National Museum of Photography, Film & Television's BAF!: Bradford Animation Festival, Britain's premier animation festival will take place this November 16-18, 2001, with three-days of films, talks and seminars, including the presentation of the 2001 BAF! Awards. Awards will be presented in the following eight categories: Professional, Non-professional, Commercial/Promotional, Digital, Experimental, Films for Children, TV series for Children and Under 16s. This years festival will focus on animation in advertising and Japanese animation. Past winners include: 1999 - THE QUEENS MONASTERY (Emma Calder), THE BEAR (Hilary Audus) and BUNNY (Chris Wedge); 2000 - CODENAME CORGI (Tracy Spottiswoode) and THE MIRACLE MAKER (Derek Hayes).
