The Rhode Island School Of Design is looking for an Assistant Professor for its Film/Animation/Video Department. This is a full time faculty position
beginning September 2000. Applicants should be able to teach a variety of
animation techniques, be familiar with new technologies and conversant with
live-action filmmaking; be able to teach effectively, creatively, and
meaningfully at all levels of animation production; have a good sense of
story development; have a history of personal work, exhibition, and
experimentation in animation, along with college teaching experience. A
Master of Fine Arts degree or the equivalent in personal artwork or
professional experience is required. Applicants should be familiar with
production in film, digital media, video, and audio.
