The Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning is looking
for an Assistant Professor of Design, Digital Design for September 2000.
The School of Design is composed of six programs: Graduate Studies in
Design; Digital Design; Fashion Design; Product Development and
Merchandising; Graphic Design; and Industrial Design. Undergraduate
students earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design in a five year
co-operative education program. There are approximately six hundred design
majors in the School and 25 full-time faculty. The programs in the School
are highly ranked nationally and internationally. Faculty in the School are
committed to excellence in design education within each discipline. Job

The successful candidate will have a primary focus in digital design. This
position will require the ability to work with a diverse and
multi-disciplinary faculty in order to develop a teaching and research
thrust related to one or more of the following: design methodology,
interactive multimedia, networked communications, 2D and 3D imaging, and 3D
animation & special effects. Successful candidates must have completed a
Masters Degree in a relevant design discipline; have teaching and
professional experience, and demonstrate outstanding design research
