Red Giant’s <em>Plot Device</em> Nominated for Vimeo, Webby Awards

Red Giant [1]’s short film, Plot Device, has picked up a lot of traction with nominations for a Webby [2] award and the Vimeo Festival + Awards [3].

Directed by Red Giant’s Seth Worley, Plot Device depicts a young filmmaker who obtains a mysterious device that unleashes the full force of cinema on his front lawn. The short was created to demonstrate firsthand the high-caliber work that can be created when using Red Giant’s Magic Bullet Suite 11. The movie was created by Worley with a budget of $10,000, a lot of ingenuity, and price-conscious VFX software from Red Giant. With over 100,000 views on YouTube, the film has become a viral sensation on the web, generating over 540,000 views on Vimeo and YouTube in its first two weeks.
