Now on exhibit at Comic Con 2012, Snow White and Pinocchio art are among the highlights of the Profiles in History animation collection [1], which goes up for auction on July 29. According to The Hollywood Reporter [2], these big-ticket items are expected to fetch upwards of $80K each. Other rare items include a one-of-a-kind 1953 Disneyland prospectus and art from beloved '60s-'90s animated shows, including The Simpsons and Scooby Doo.

Among the modern pieces up for auction are many cels from the SImpsons. This image of the Maggie, Marge, Homer, Bart, and Lisa at the opera from the season 1 episode "Bart, The Genius." The background is a 20th Century Fox-produced reproduction added to the piece for the sale.
