Ultra SCSI and Fibre Channel connectivity, as well as 1080P /24 support will be shown for the HD1.5Plus. The new HDCAM-compatible HD270, developed in conjunction with Sony, joins the Panasonic HD D5-compatible HD360 disk recorder in Sierra's family of versatile HD/SD recorders. The HD1.5Plus, now with direct device driver support from Discreet Logic, MTI and Chyron, will also demonstrate its versatility as an uncompressed HD recorder in 1080I, 720p, and 1080p formats, switchable to four SDI, HDCAM or HD D5 recorders with the push of a single button.
The company will also be featuring their new HDCAM-compatible HD270, developed in conjunction with Sony. The HD270 is a DTV/HDTV recorder able to record and play standard uncompressed 8 or 10 bit 4:2:2 video and then, with a simple software switch, record and play a 1080i HDTV signal when used in conjunction with the Sony HDCAM* HD SDTI processor card set. The HD270 offers all the same capabilities of the feature rich Quickframe, making it the ideal video disk recorder for HD edit, telecine, duplicating, still/clip store and server for broadcast and playout applications.
