NEW MOON heartthrob Taylor Lautner is up for the lead in Paramount's adaptation of MAX STEEL, reports the LOS ANGELES TIMES [1]. Based on the Mattel toy line, the story follows Josh McGrath, a college-aged extreme sport athlete who is transformed into a superhero through nanotechnology. J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani are penning the screenplay.
