Henry Selick has inked an exclusive long-term contract with Disney/Pixar, reports VARIETY [1]. Selick will work in the Bay Area close to Pixar’s home in Emeryville, California. He plans to make stop-motion features based on his own ideas, as well as book adaptations.
Selick has a history making stop-motion features for Disney, having directed the wildly popular THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, as well as JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH.
