Ben Stiller Wants to Rentaghost

files/pictures/picture-35.jpg20th Century Fox has picked up the rights to the British TV series RENTAGHOST, reports Deadline.com [1]. Ben Stiller will star and produce with NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM scribes Tom Lennon and Robert Ben Garant penning the script. The film version will see Stiller as a corporate turnaround expert traveling to England to help a troubled company. The original show followed a company that rented out ghosts for various odd jobs.

BermanBraun's Gail Berman and Langley Park's Kevin McCormick are the producers. Previously, the producers tried to set up a remake of the series at Warner Bros. with Russell Brand in the lead, but Brand backed out after his previous remake of ARTHUR failed at the box office.
