The Acrobat Issue Of Animation World Magazine Is Now Online!
The May Acrobat issue of Animation World Magazine is now on-line! As we have recently changed to a weekly format with the magazine many of you have noticed that this has also changed our publishing schedule for the downloadable, monthly PDF version. Never fear! We are going to keep publishing the Acrobat version. Each 15th of the month we will publish the previous month's articles.
May focused on Jobs and Recruiting, a hot topic in the current marketplace. Articles covered what recruiters are looking for in candidates and how to write a great resume. John Edgar Park discussed the hottest software that the industry is using and how to find training. We also featured articles on DreamWorks' smash hit, Shrek, and a special Focus on Australia. Brett Rogers profiled CartoonNetwork.com and how they are bridging the gap between online and on-air. We also heard from regulars, Fred Patten with his anime reviews, The Animation Pimp with a look at forced heterosexual coupling in animated features and Martin Goodman finished his "Walking to Toontown" history. We were also treated to industry event profiles of MILIA, MIP and Cartoons on the Bay. But wait! There's more! So check it out at http://mag.awn.com/index.php3?ltype=acrobat.
