"Edward Kwon's food is better than sex" - Madonna. A former Head Chef at Dubai's one and only Burj Al Arab, Edward is planning on opening a new restaurant in Korea and looking for chefs who will work with him. 30 out of over 600 applicants are getting a chance for a cooking audition, and only 12 of them are selected to compete in the show.
The final 12 contestants will receive a mission in every episode; at the end of each episode one contestant will have to go home. Each mission is not about just improving cooking skills, but about understanding the ingredients, appreciation of the sense of taste, and improving one's expression about their food. Through accomplishing each mission, contestants compete, cooperate, and develop to become one of world's best chefs.
Kwon, a perfectionist, does not want to hear any reply other than "YES, CHEF." He expects absolute obedience when in the kitchen. He does not hesitate to swear like Gordon Ramsay, and he will be like Donald Trump when it comes to selecting who failed the mission.
Edward Kwon’s attraction for leading the kitchen. Competitor’s efforts to stay in the kitchen.
