Anita Olan Returns to Imaginary Forces NYC

Design and production studio Imaginary Forces has named Anita Olan to the position of exec producer/general manager of its New York office.

The move is a homecoming for Olan. One of the company's longest-tenured employees, she spent over a decade with IF, both in its Hollywood and New York offices. During this time she worked on every aspect of the company's business, from leading its production department and developing strategy and creative for major network rebranding efforts to producing innovative entertainment content for such clients as Animal Planet and Lexus.

The screening at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences is always an exciting event for the nominees. Sell out crowds are eager to see the films and are always very receptive. The screening is also a big press event with the nominees juggling interviews and photo ops with news outlets from around the world.

Jetix Europe Gets New CEO

Paul Taylor has exited and John Hardie has entered as Jetix Europe's new chief executive officer, according to multiple news sources.

VARIETY reports that Hardie will retain his job as exec VP and managing director of the Disney channels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and take over the new job immediately. Disney announced in December that it will up its stake in Jetix from 75 to 100 percent.

Chris Allen has re-joined MPC from Absolute Post. Allen, who left MPC three years ago, takes up the position of Senior Producer, and will be based in the London studio.

Allen has worked with many commercials directors during his time at both companies. His recent credits include; Lux for Dawn Shadforth at RSA (JWT New York/Tokyo), Transport for London for Emil Moller/Fredrik Bond at Sonny (M&C Saatchi) and Boots for David LaChapelle at HSI through Mother London.
