OIAF 2002 FESTIVAL AWARDS

The awards have been chosen and commissioned by the Ottawa International Animation Festival. This year's copper phenakistoscope awards have been designed by Ontario artist Elly Irvin. The handles were turned from bird's eye maple, purple heartwood, and yellow birch. The animation was designed by George Griffin, which was then transferred by Elly and etched into the brass disks. All category winners will also receive complimentary Digicel Flipbook software.
