What is so extraordinary about this body of work is the passionate clarity of the ideas that fuel it and the formal precision of the narrative and cinematographic structures which allow the viewer in. Leslie Dick
In this master class presentation, Paul Bush shines a light on his unique filmmaking process. With his solid Fine Arts footing, Paul's films -- including The Albatross, Pas de Deux de Deux and Busby Berkeley's Tribute to Mae West -- not only explore the history and present of cinema and animation but play exuberantly with as many arts as necessary to express his ideas. In this, Paul makes obvious the creative need to understand the intersections of artistic intent and audience understanding; an auteur practising a public art form.
