John Evershed, Mondo Media’s CEO and Executive Producer oversees the company’s strategic and creative direction. He has dedicated his career to combining art and technology to create new and compelling entertainment experiences. Mr. Evershed co-founded Mondo Media with his partner Deirdre O’Malley in 1988. Today, Mondo Media is a privately owned, venture backed company that produces and distributes animation for television, the Internet, DVD, videogames and wireless. Mondo owns and controls an award-winning library of over 3,000 minutes of animation targeted at a young adult audience ranging from 12-34 years of age. Most notably, Mondo Media produces and distributes Happy Tree Friends, a multimedia and licensing animation franchise that originated as a series of shorts on the Internet.

1. What kinds of projects do you do?
We work primarily on shorts.

2. What animation techniques do you commonly use?
Flash.

3. What is your target audience demographic?
12-24 male and female. We have a fairly even spread.

4.What are you currently working on?
We are working on a project with G4 Network to produce television material.

Yes

6. Are you interested in co-productions/co-ventures?
Yes

7. Have you been involved in international co-productions/co-ventures in the past?
Yes, with both Canada and France.
