Chris Landreth

Engineer and animator Chris Landreth will speak about his use of Maya in 
the making of his short film Ryan. He will discuss the logistics as well as the 
technology used in the process of creating an animated 3D film with the 
use of drawings, photos and models.
 
Chris Hinton and Susan Gourley
Sunday, September 26, 9:00 am - 10:30 am (Arts Court Theatre)
The class will take the form of a dialogue between Chris Hinton and Susan
Gourley to reflect the collaborative process of filmmaking. They will discuss
current technologies, including software and hardware tools (2D) useful for
the independent animator. Chris's current film, Cnote, will serve as a paradigm
for discussion, and a workshop handout will give additional suggestions for
software, plugins and freeware, as well as resources available on the Web.
