AWN would like to thank all the participants who voted in the 2007 Oscar Showcase poll!
Despite winning the Oscar for animated feature, Happy Feet only garnered 27% of the votes while Monster House took in 16%. For AWN readers, Cars was the clear winner racing home with 57% of the votes.
In the animated shorts poll, Lifted finished on top with 35%, Blue Sky's No Time For Nuts came in second with 27% followed by The Little Matchgirl with 19% and Maestro with 11%, bringing up the rear was eventual Oscar winner The Danish Poet collected 8% of the votes from the AWN readers.
Congratulations to this year's Oscar winners Happy Feet and The Danish Poet, as well as all the other wonderful nominees!
